From the time Augustine to contemporary Anne Lamott, reflecting on one’s own life has been a threshold into both self-understanding and engagement in justice and compassion. This reflective morning led by The Rev. Maren Tirabassi will offer a variety of practices to gather personal insights related to our spiritual autobiographies, and share with others. A stand-alone optional workshop can extend the day until 2:00 for those who are interested in writing memoir or facilitating a church-based spiritual autobiography group.
Registration begins at 8:30 AM with coffee and refreshments, with our program beginning at 9:00 AM. Eucharist and lunch will conclude the core of the program, with the opportunity to extend time until 2:00 PM for additional facilitated conversation related to continuing the work we begin. The extended portion may be helpful to those interested in their own writing, or to encourage this type of spiritual engagement in parishes.
Ms. Tirabassi will be available for consultation during the program for those interested.
