Welcome to St. Peter’s! We’re enthusiastic followers of Jesus, committed to caring for and about our neighbors with compassion and love. Sometimes our neighbor sits next to us in the pew on Sunday, sometimes our neighbor is homeless. We strive to meet each person we encounter as ambassadors of Christ, nourished by Word and Sacrament, humbled in service, and supported by each other on our faithful journeys.
We are delighted to be back in the building for worship following months of virtual-only worship, and to have resumed a service of holy communion! We continue to stream our 9 AM summer service through our Facebook page on Sundays and other occasions–including weekday devotions. At present other activities are offered with some caution, but we look forward to a return to opportunities for you and your family to experience the presence of God in your lives in a real way as soon as possible. In the meantime, have fun surfing through our web site, visit some of our links, and please feel free to contact us with any questions. We hope to see you soon at one of our virtual worship services or other events. Blessings to you!
Public notice: A memorial service for Louise Maude Evans, a member of St. Peter’s and cherished part of the South Windsor community, will be held Saturday, August 7 at 11:00 AM. The service will take place outdoors near the parish memorial garden on the rear part of our campus. The family invites friends to join in this celebration of Louise’s life, followed by a reception indoors. If you plan to attend the reception, please use this RSVP form to help us welcome you.
