Sean Robert Glenn is a church musician and theologian with many years of experience in the work of supporting the church “behind the scenes.” He holds a Master of Arts in Music with an emphasis in composition and a Master of Theological Studies.
Sean has served the church for 18 years as a liturgical musician, composer, and administrator in a variety of settings, including cathedrals, parish churches, and university chaplaincies. A significant chapter of Sean’s formation was the six-year season spent as a brother with Society of Saint John the Evangelist. There he participated in the daily rhythm of monastic prayer, prepared and led liturgies, taught chant, and led retreats and workshops.
Sean is a member of Haven Religious in Hartford, where he helps shape the community’s liturgical life through worship planning, chant instruction, music composition, and the cultivation of communal prayer.
Sean is delighted to bring his gifts and experience to the life and work of St. Peter’s.
